Your Visit

More information on our surgeries and the services we offer can be found in our patient leaflet. If you require the patient leaflet in a different format, please telephone 01904 928008

We have a range of GP Partners and salaried GPs offering care in our surgeries. Sometimes you may see another clinician. All appointment requests are assessed by a duty GP to determine the most suitable clinician and time frame for each individual case. Our whole clinical team work closely with our GPs to discuss cases and care options. More details on our roles can be found here.

Equality

We treat all our patients equally, no matter what their condition or treatment or how often they visit the practice. We do not differentiate by reason of age, race, religion, disability, or the beliefs of our patients.

Zero tolerance of harassment and abuse

We support the NHS ‘Zero Tolerance’ campaign for Health Service Staff and have a zero tolerance policy towards harassment and abuse of staff or patients, including homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, ageism, or harassment or abuse on basis of disability, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, religion or belief.

Accessing our services

All our surgeries have disabled access, parking, and accessible toilets.

If you need help with your appointment

Please tell us before your appointment:

  • if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
  • if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
  • if you need an interpreter
  • if you have any other access or communication needs
  • If you need a chaperone

Chaperones

All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure where they feel one is required. This chaperone may be a family member or friend. On occasions you may prefer a formal chaperone to be present, i.e. a trained member of staff. Staff may also request a chaperone.

Home Visits
Home visits are only offered to patients who are housebound. If you feel too ill to come to the surgery or are unable to leave your home for medical reasons, please let us know before 10:30am, where possible, through any of the appointment pathways. A clinician may telephone you to discuss the problem in the first instance
